The Story of Us
Position of Authority has a pretty short story behind its origin. When Alex and Teddy were in 4th grade, they both learned how to play guitar. They started a band with one of their friends, Joey Bosso on keyboard, who often commented "keyboards suck". They also had one of their enemies, Chris Cregger, on drums which he made in his garage out of paint cans. The experience of their first band left both Alex and Teddy deeply scarred. It wasn't until 5 years and several months of counceling later that they decided to give it a second try. Except this time, Teddy bought a bass because that way he could impress the ladies, in a way that few can understand. Lucky for these two, Alex was in a biology class, and later an english class, with one of the most talented drummers in the school. With the addition of Jake Wisse to the band, it could now be called a band. This is not the end to their story though, just the beginning, as Position of Authority is always looking for new instruments and new members to join. |
